Foucault is a program that will allow you to prepare mirrors for building telescopes.
This free program will calculate the measures that the telescope should have, according to the voltmeter. Besides this, it will calculate the parameters for the Couder Screen.

By using this program, you will know the shape that the mirrors will need to have, and the zones where you will need to polish.

The program can display the results in English or French.

The program comes with two mirrors already calculated, but you can create your own mirrors, and the program will give you the parameters that you will need to apply according to the desired result, and the measures that you will use.

You can specify the diameter, glass, conical constant, and the parameters for the Couder Screen. The program will let you calculate the values for the center of the mirror, the shape and aspect of each mirror, and many more. It will show you a graphic with the suggested values for the mirror. By constructing such mirrors, you will be able to create a telescope with the proper values for its mirrors.
